Trapper,

I just wanted to thank you again for the fantastic Power Point Program on the Missouri River last Thursday night at our Club Meeting. I have been the Program Coordinator for the last three years and that was one of the finest programs that we have had the opportunity to view at our club. I had over 15 members come to me after the meeting thanking me for getting you to come and do the program. I have also had many members call me since last Thursday and tell me how much they enjoyed both the program and you also.

Hi Trapper,

I think you did a great job and everyone in all the clubs really liked you and your presentation. You did an excellent, professional job and, as I told you after the show at Wilderness, you made me look good. I hope your time here in southern California was enjoyable and that you had a successful show at the Orange County Club. I do hope to get up to Montana this summer and if I can, I will give you a call. Itd be fun to go out with you again. Let me know how the new book progresses and when it will be out. Meanwhile, have fun and best of luck.

Warm regards,

This past November it was my pleasure to meet Trapper Badovinac, this year's featured speaker at our annual Kaweah Fly Fisher's Fall Festival. What an open book of fishing information freely shared! Working as a guide on the Missouri River has not limited him in his all around fly fishing knowledge. My only regret of the evening was not having more time to listen and learn. After dinner there was little time delay in setting up his PowerPoint program. The smooth transition was welcome. My initial assumption was that his program would be exclusively about the Missouri. Truly there was a great deal of useful information shared on that river presented with absolutely outstanding photography. But to my delight and surprise he also exposed us to numerous tributaries, most of which I had never heard of or fished. Trapper saw to it that the Missouri and these additional streams were described in such a way that there was a river for just about any fly fisher's taste. I was pleased to have someone willing to share information about such a variety of quality waters. Trapper presented a program that any FFF club would find entertaining and useful. I look forward to my next meeting with him here in Visalia again for another program, or perhaps on one of his favorite waters among those that feed into his beloved Missouri.

Trapper,

Thanks for a wonderful presentation. Your photos were stunning. I'm looking forward to your new book on small streams. I don't know of many recent publications that cover the subject the way that you intend to with sources like state studies etc. The only small stream book I've ever been exposed to is the Curtis Creek Manifesto that is over a decade old. I hope the rest of your trip went smoothly. Thanks again for your great tying demonstration and the neat experience of what the Missouri River has to offer.

Thanks,

Rich Arner
